If you want to learn more, and to ask questions about the project that will have a serious impact on the Celery Fields, Kimley-Horn design engineers is holding a Zoom Workshop on Tuesday, May 14 at 6pm EST. This workshop will reveal the updated plans for the farm just opposite the Raymond Rd boardwalk. Developer DR Horton is applying for a rezone to build 170 farms on this 49-acre farm.
Needless to say, if this project goes forward, there will be a significant negative impact on the birds and wildlife that thrive in the Celery Fields, not to mention the adverse visitor experience.
